What’s better then having a Moms Night Out pre-screening event showing the movie Bad Moms?
Nothing! Nothing at all!
Last nights event was nothing short of an absolute blast. When I started working with the Vice President of marketing through UltraStar Cinemas months and months ago, I never imagined that this event would end up being one of the most amazing nights that I have had in a long time.
Let me paint a picture of the event for those of you who might have missed out on all the fun. It all started with the movie check in. Guests recieved raffle tickets to win prizes from some of our local sponsors. They also recieved a Bad Moms coaster, courtesy of UltraStar, and then off they went to the concession line to score $5 happy hour beer or wine. (Bet you didn’t know that movie theatres have happy hour!)
If the guests were VIP ticket holders, they recieved a home made bow from a local shop called Lexis Posh Creations. They could either keep it- or pass it off to their little ones! So cute! Simply Soothing gave each of our VIPs a bottle of their DEET free bug repellant. If you check out their website and use SanDiegoMB you will get 20% off your first order! After that, guests could hang out in the lounge space that UltraStar reserved for us. In that space, there were some delicious sweets, provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes in Mission Valley, and The Cravory Cookies. We even got to meet the owner of Cravory, Collin!
We had our San Diego Moms Blog banner out and all the ladies took full advantage by taking photos in front of it! We had some creative groups that made some Bad Moms t-shirts which were perfect for the occasion. The chatter and excitement coming from the group was electric! It seemed like we all needed this moms night out with our girlfriends.
Right before the movie started, we did a few fun giveaways. Nothing Bundt Cakes gave us an actual cake to giveaway! We had one lucky mom take it home with her that night. We did two UltraStar giveaways, each with a Bad Moms t-shirt and shaker cup. We got to giveaway the cutest necklace ever, from Charming Maps and we gave away a mini pamper kit containing home made soaps, shaving cream, lip balm, and even baby powder, from our amazing Crunchie Life sponsors. After that, the fun began!!!! The movie was HI-LARIOUS! The entire theatre was cracking up and having such a great time. I haven’t seen a movie that has literally made me laugh out loud in a very long time. The atmosphere was laid back, fun and relaxing all at once. I had a wonderful time with my friends, and I know all the other fun groups of moms had fun as well. We can NOT wait to plan our next Moms Night Out event! Will you be there?
