Thanks for joining us live for our Friday Favorites Pumpkin Spice edition!
In case you missed it, the video is posted below.
We know it’s almost fall when Pumpkin Spice everything rolls out into stores.
September 1st launches Starbucks’ famous PSL, but that’s not all!
All the “basic girls” love anything pumpkin spice flavored, because let’s face it- by now we are READY for fall in San Diego!
Elisabeth and I took it upon ourselves to try a variety of pumpkin spiced foods and treats, so you can make an informed decision before you buy them for yourself!
The video shows more details, but we will list our top three and our bottom three of what we tried.
TOP 3 Pumpkin Spice Foods:
We loved the smell and combination of the pumpkin spice with the cream cheese for the Krusteaz cookies. Hands down, super delicious. Milano cookies are hard to beat because they are so good as the original version. Adding that bit of pumpkin spice flavored frosting was a great addition! Also, the Thomas bagels are delicious with the pumpkin spice flavoring. Not too overpowering, but a subtle flavoring that would be great for breakfast.
Bottom 3 Pumpkin Spice Foods:
Obviously two of these items aren’t technically pumpkin spice, but we wanted to try them because of the novelty of all things pumpkin. JUST DON’T DO IT! Those pumpkin spice flavored pretzels just don’t mix. The saltyness of the pretzels doesn’t go good with their pumpkin spice flavoring. And it’s so sweet that it made the side of my mouth hurt! Those pumpkin pie M&M’s don’t even taste like chocolate. Don’t waste your money on those! And the pop tarts- well, those were grose. They didn’t even taste the least bit like pumpkin pie. Save your taste buds and money, and take it from us!
We loved hanging out with you live and playing around chatting about “basic” friends. We just love fall and wanted to have some fun! Join us next time for our next edition of Friday Favorites, and check out some of the other things we tried on this Facebook Live replay!
