Flower Fields

The Flower Fields will be open from March 1 through May 10, 2020. 9 am – 6 pm daily

For over sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year – from early March through early May – literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California.

National Eating Disorder Association {NEDA} Walk

When: Saturday, March 14, 2020
Time: 10 AM
Location: NTC Park at Liberty Station 2455 Cushing Road, San Diego, CA 92106

30 million Americans struggle with an eating disorder at some point in their lives. Despite their increasing prevalence, eating disorders receive significantly less funding than other major mental illnesses, and support options are often inaccessible. As a result, too many families are left feeling helpless, hopeless, and frightened – this is where we come in. Through NEDA Walks, we are raising critical funds, restoring hope, and changing the conversation surrounding eating disorders.

Your fundraising efforts are putting life-saving resources into the hands of those in need, and catalyzing prevention, cures, and access to quality care. With every dollar raised, we are one step closer to our shared vision of a world without eating disorders.
