Hello Spring! The days are longer, the sun is coming out and it’s time for us to get out and enjoy our city. Here’s a list of events to help you plan your outings.  

 

Throughout the month of April –

Dia de Los Niños Events – “Día de los Niños is a celebration of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. San Diego County Library extends its celebration of Día throughout April. ”

The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, will have events all month such as Arts & Crafts, Musical Guests, Evening of Fashion Flowers, Fido Show, Basket Weaving, Wine Tasting and much more. 

Prom Dress Giveaways- Free to Teens! Donate an old prom dress to teens who are in need. Various times throughout the month of April

Naturally Eggs-sighted at the Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista from 10am – 2pm

Butterfly Jungle at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido from 9am – 5pm daily

Drink Play Create: Flashback Friday at The New Children’s Museum ages 21+, from 7pm – 11pm

Backyard game night at Funbelievable from 5-8pm

Novo Brazil 3rd Annual Anniversary Celebration  at Novo Brazil Brewing from 1pm – 6pm
